Unity Brands Group was founded in 2007 by Praful Mehta to be one source company for the Brand Management and consulting needs of the uniquely qualified multicultural brands from around the globe. The primary objective of the company is to develop go-to market strategies and manage the brands for the companies who are looking to enter the fiercely competitive U.S. mainstream market.
Praful is the subject matter expert on multicultural marketing and most recently worked as Corporate Director, Multicultural Foods with Tree of Life, Inc. www.Treeoflife.com in Saint Augustine, Florida, a leading food distribution company in the country. He was leading the enhancement of the overall multicultural food influence in the company's assortment for the entire North America while working on developing relationships across the globe for sourcing of authentic and unique products.
Praful has developed a unique niche in the industry and gained strong business relationships with the retailers, distributors and brokers across the country while developing strong partnerships with companies from North America, Europe and Southeast Asia.
Prior to Tree of Life, Inc., Praful worked as Director, Specialty and Ethnic Foods with Giant Food Inc. www.Giantfood.com a leading Supermarket chain in the Baltimore Washington DC area and operating company of Global retailer Ahold NV.
Praful received his Executive Masters in Food Marketing from Haub School of Business at Saint Joseph's University, Philadelphia, PA and an MBA from University of Rajasthan, India.
